Finally working on this site, give it a few days and most of the content should be up and running.

This weblog will mostly be posts about tech related stuff, cool programs, linux, games, web development stuff, projects I’m working on, random funny things and basically anything interesting I stumble across. Maybe even a community section down the line.

You’ll probably see a lot of changes in the site over the next couple of weeks, but that’s because I’ll be testing a lot of features and adding in some content, plugins, add-ons, etc…

As you probably noticed, this is a wordpress blog and as far as this theme goes, I really love the Playstation Blog theme, so I just had to find something similar, at least until I make my own someday. This theme was the closest I can find that resembles the Playstation Blog theme, I think that was the idea.

I’ve had this domain over a year, but mainly used it for testing since this runs on my own server box at home as well as my other sites. I just recently put together a new pc, so that’s why I’m finally motivated to work on this site that I’ve been wanting to get to for a while. This is what I’m running currently:

Main PC

AMD Phenom Quad Core 3.0ghz 940 Black, 4GB Corsair 1066mhz DDR2 memory, ASUS M3N72-D nvidia nforce 750a SLI chipset, xfx nvidia 8800 gtx (planning to upgrade to gtx 280 very soon ), 1.5TB seagate hdd and 500gb maxtor sata 3.0gbps hdd, 650w PSU, 2 – 22″ samsung LCD monitors side by side, and the case is an Antec three-hundred. Main OS (1.5TB drive) is Linux Ubuntu 9.04 x86_64 “Jaunty Jackalope” used for everyday computing and the secondary (500GB drive) has Windows 7 x64 RC1 used for gaming and for stuff that doesn’t run in WINE .

Laptop

Toshiba Satellite M305D 17″ with AMD Turion x2 ultra 2.4ghz, 500GB WD hdd, ATI 3100, 3GB 800mhz memory. Main OS Ubuntu 9.04 x86_64 “Jaunty Jackalope”. I used to use this as my main PC, but now I have my new desktop.

Netbook

ASUS eeePC 900ha – 1.6ghz Intel Atom cpu, 1GB memory, 160GB hdd, not much else. I bought this originally to carry around with me while I was in Japan. I almost had free wifi everywhere

Server Box

AMD 5600+ Dual-Core @ 2.4ghz, 4GB patriot 800mhz DDR2 Memory, Some ASUS ATI xfire board that I don’t remember, Diamond ATI 3870 x2 (yeah I know, this used to be my other main Desktop PC),  sata 1TB WD HDD, Antec 650w PSU, Antec Case (don’t remember model, but not an ugly one). OS is running Linux Fedora 8. I’ve been using Redhat as a server OS for about 8 years, but after the “switch”, I stuck with Fedora since I was most comfortable with redhat/fedora distros server-wise. Hosting panel installed is Parallels Plesk 9. I would probably go with cpanel if I could, but it’s not very easy to obtain a license from them for a personal server like mine This Server Box has ran all of my domains I have ever purchased (except 1!). Used to be zakabu.com (expired blog site) and orbitis.net (expired beatmania music hosting site) back in 2002 and  is currently running uber-ls.com (FFXI guild site), xivonline.com (FFXIV community site in develeopment) and uberdood.com!
