Six days since the RTM was leaked on torrent sites and Windows 7 RTM has already been cracked using a Lenovo OEM product key.

Supposedly, the crack works with both 32-bit and 64-bit Ultimate versions and can be implemented other PCs other than just the Lenovo OEM. What about Genuine Advantage? Passed with flying colors. That doesn’t mean Microsoft will never sort this out, but I have my doubts – it was never blocked with Vista.

Looks like Yahoo and Microsoft made an agreement to use Bing’s search engine instead of Google. What kind of effect will this have on Google? Supposedly Microsoft and Bing hold about 8.4% of the search market and Yahoo claiming to own about 19.6%. Google will still dominate of course, but still interesting.
